Chit Malt

Chit is the foam lovers' malt.  Originally created by German brewers to enhance head creation/retention while adhering to Reinheitsgebot, Chit malt undergoes a very brief germination period and low kilning temps to harness the benefits of raw grain on foam dynamics while delivering pleasant flavor and less residual sugar than dextrin malt.  A sprinkling of Chit malt is a great addition to European-style lagers for brag-worthy lacing, or any beer needing additional foam stability.
